2013

Meng Teck starts investing with RM 9,500 as a customer service agent earning RM 3,500/month.

2014

Begins teaching friends and university students. Savwee officially founded.

2016

Expanded beyond university — begins teaching the public.

2018–2019

FATARM methodology created. Meng Teck achieves 100% portfolio return.

2020

Pivot to 100% online during COVID — rapid growth in student numbers.

2022

"Secrets of Value Investing" Part 1 & 2 eBooks launched.

2023–2024

Meng Teck makes RM 1 million profit. 5,000+ students taught. AI-powered tools integrated into coaching.

2025

Featured in E&O Bhd (billion-dollar company) as top 24 ICULS holder. Large-scale offline events with hundreds of attendees.

Meet the Founder

Meng Teck — engineer, value investor, teacher.

Meng Teck grew up in a B40 family in Johor. His father was a lorry driver. His mother worked at the supermarket. Nobody in his family had any knowledge about investing or wealth-building.

At 19, he saved RM 9,500 from his customer service job paying RM 3,500 a month — picking up the phone for RM 10–20 per hour. That was everything he had. He invested it all into one stock — Padini at RM 1.80 — when everyone else was panic-selling over elections.

That decision made 18% profit in one month. It was the beginning of a journey that would take RM 9,500 to RM 100,000 in five years, and then to RM 1 million in the next two.

Along the way, he personally met and learned from Asia's greatest investors: Lo Kheng Hong (Indonesia's Buffett), Dr. Niwes Hemvachiravarakorn (who turned 200,000 into 200 million USD), and Koon Yew Yin (who turned RM 200,000 into RM 200 million starting at age 55).

With an engineering background, Meng Teck brought a logical, systems-based approach to investing. This led to the creation of the FATARM methodology in 2019 — an AI-powered 3-pillar value investing system now taught to thousands.
